Denise Aquila has been a full-time, professional REALTOR® since 1992. She proudly serves the San Francisco coast and peninsula. As a long time coastside resident she is extremely familiar with the coast specializing in homes and country property in Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Moss Beach, Montara, and Pacifica. With her main office on the peninsula, she sells homes from San Francisco to Saratoga. Everywhere you look on either the peninsula or coast you can find a happy customer Denise has sold a home to! She has recently opened a secondary office in Folsom where she and her team serve El Dorado and Sacramento counties. Having gone to high school and college in the area she has maintained her Sacramento ties and is using her expertise to give her Sacramento clients the same exceptional experience her bay area clients have received.

Denise came to real estate from a 12-year career as a management consultant for high tech firms in Silicon Valley. The organizational and analytical skills that she gained in this profession are invaluable to Denise and her clients today.
Honors
Denise has received the highest honor that can be bestowed on a Realtor. She was named Realtor of the Year for 2005. Denise is consistently a top producer who has been repeatedly recognized for her outstanding record both by the local association as well as nationally by not only Alain Pinel but Re/Max, Coldwell Banker and Prudential. She holds several professional designations including but not limited to ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), CRS (Certified Real Estate Specialist), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), QSC (Quality Service Certified) and PMN (Performance Management Network). Recently she added CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert)to her resume. Her training in this area will help her assist clients with short sales and foreclosure issues. Additionally, because of her years of travel and extensive work in relocation she has been awarded the Residential Relocation Certification. Denise uses her leadership skills in helping to maintain high real estate standards. She served on the Board of Directors for the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® for 9 years and is past chairman of that organization's Technology Committee. She also participated on the Board's Education Committee, Special Events Committee, By-Laws Committee and Foundation Committee to name a few. In 2007 she was been appointed to several committees for the California Assn. of Realtors and currently serves on the housing committee for the National Assn. of Realtors.
Listed for the past seventeen years in Who's Who of Businesswomen, Denise was the 2003 President of the San Mateo County Women's Council of REALTORS® and is a past state officer for Women's Council of Realtors, specifically as a District Vice President and California WCR Parliamentarian for the California State Chapter.
Denise is part of the 2010 class of women inducted into San Mateo County Women's Hall of Fame. This is an exclusive honor given to women who go above and beyond to help make a difference in not only women's lives but lives of people who live within the county.
Personal Information
Denise lived in the Bay Area for 35 years where she and her husband have raised their two children. Now she splits her time between and San Francisco Bay Area and the Sacramento Valley. She holds a degree in Business Administration and graduated with honors in the top 2% of her class.
Denise has done more than her fair share of relocating during her life. The child of a military family, she has lived in Europe, the Middle East and various locations throughout the United States. "I certainly have a lot of empathy for those who are relocating," says Denise. "I understand what they are going through and strive to make all relocations, no matter how long distance, stress-free and easy."
Denise was named Sportswoman of the Year for the Bay Area in 1995. She and her family are very sports-oriented. They enjoy most outdoor sports but are especially fond of soccer. Denise is the Founding Commissioner for AYSO Soccer in her community and also coached the girls varsity soccer team at Half Moon Bay High School for many years. She coaches and referees youth soccer but Denise admits a special love of different sport. "I'm a die-hard 49er fan," confesses Denise.

Denise is a member of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS® and the El Dorado County Association of Realtors, the California Association of REALTORS®, the Women's Council of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.
On a personal level, Denise was a board member for American Youth Soccer Organization for 27 years and devoted many hours to various volunteer organizations. She has been active in her church. She also serves as a county commissioner on the HEART board which provides opportunities for first time buyers to purchase and/or rent homes which HEART assists with. Giving back to her community is her way of saying "thank you" to those who give to her.
Professional Philosophy
Denise's professional slogan has transitioned from "Simply the Best" (and she is) to "Focused on YOUR Goals". Her goals of serving her clients in the manner which will enhance their quality of life while eliminating stress in the transaction and watching the "bottom line" are met in every single transaction. "I want my clients to be my clients forever, not for just this one transaction" says Denise. Her new slogan reflects her desire to be simply the best and to exceed your expectations. "If I exceed their expectations I know they will be back the next time they need real estate help...and they might even bring their friends and family," she smiles.
